Even Muchinga province rejects PF

President Michael Sata has lost an election in his own bedroom by losing a Ward by-election in Mafinga Constituency of Muchinga Province. The development therefore dilutes allegations by fake political analysts like Alex Ng’ona of the University of Zambia that there is regional voting.

The Patriotic Front lost the ward by-election in Tendere to Movement for Multi-Party Democracy in the September 5, 2013 elections.

The MMD got 1200 votes against the Patriotic front who got 400 votes. Mafinga constituency is under MMD’s Catherine Namugala as Member of Parliament.Ms. Namugala who seems to have politically been born again spent weeks campaigning for the former ruling party’s candidate. According to a source, Namugala has ditched the PF aligned Richard Kachingwe group after Major Kachingwe testified against former President Rupiah Banda.

Yesterday UNZA political scientist and Ballot paper thief Alex N’gona was quoted by Radio Phoenix as saying that there were traces of regional voting in Zambia. If his analysis was anything to go by, the PF would have won the by-election in Mafinga because the constituency is in Muchinga province were Sata claims to hail from.
