Ex-Barclays managers go empty-handed

Some of the 141 managers that have been shown the door by Barclays Bank are struggling to reconcile their accounts because of their overdrawn accounts as a result of the vehicles given to them on loan and some of them are going without benefits.
Some former employees have failed to break even with the bank after calculation of their terminal benefits less their indebtedness.
Most of them have opted to offload their personal-to-holder in order to cover what they owe the former employers.
One buyer of an almost brand new Toyota Hilux has told the Zambian Watchdog that he considered himself lucky because the vehicle went for a song as the former Barclays bank manager was in a hurry to clear the loan and remain with few coins.
