Ex-Civil Servants are today expected to lodge in a formal complaint at Police Headquarters for Siakachoke Simemeza to be charged with fraud.
Simemeza is the criminal Wynter Kabimba, Justice PS Joesph Akafumba and their lawyer Malipenga used to illegally transfer payment files for Voluntary Separation Association of Zambia (VSAS) from Lukona Chambers owned by Nellie Mutti to Rabson Malipenga’s law firm without the consent of the 3568 retirees.
After transferring the file, Kabimba, Justice Permanent Secretary Joseph Akufumba and Lusaka Lawyer Rabson Malipenga, in fraudulent circumstance, deduct 15 per cent from each retiree’s payment every month then share the money.
Just this week, First Alliance Bank wrote to Malipenga demanding payment of over withdrawn civil servants money.
The case of civil servants was won by Nelly Mutti in 2008.
Simemeza, the now default, chairperson of VSAS was demanding K67, 000 from Nelly Mutti’s law firm but when Mutti refused, Simemeza asked Kabimba and that is how the file was illegally transferred.
Eligible civil servants have since been affected and are now taking the matter to the police.
After realising that they have been exposed and that Simemeza did not obtain any signatures from ex-civil servants, Kabimba and Malipenga have dispatched Simemeza to go round the country and obtain backdated signatures.
