Fifty survive being sacrificed in Chibombo

Over 50 people cheated death when the Copperbelt bound Euro Africa bus from Lusaka rammed into a Zambia Army Toyota Hilux forcing the van to overturn near John Chinena area in Chibombo district.

An eye witness who was on the bus told the Zambian Watchdog that the military van which was being driven by a Zambia army officer with other people on board instantly stopped forcing the bus to hit it in the back and seriously injured three people while two from the bus were also seriously injured.

Early this year over 55 people aboard a Postbus died on the spot after the bus collided with a foreign truck near the same area and about a month afterwards another 18 people died after the minibus they were travelling in overturned after a tyre burst.
