Former Millitary commaders to be questioned by police this week

Former Zambia Army commander Lieutenant General Wisdom Lopa is expected to be interrogated by the Task Force on corruption today or tomorrow, Friday.

His counterpart former ZNS commandant Major General Anthony Yeta is also expected to be questioned this week on similar charges of abuse of authority.

Former ZAF commander Lieutenant General Andrew Sakala has already been grilled following an order by President Michael Sata to have the former commanders jailed.

The general are accused of giving or diverting money to the MMD during the campaigns. The Generals are said to have given the money to the MMD in their individual capacities.

The Task Force on Corruption comprises select officers from the regular police, DEC, ACC and OP.
