Four foreign drug traffickers arrested in Zambia

Four foreigners have been arrested in Zambia for trafficking in illegal drugs.
The four suspects that have been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission are two Tanzanians, one Dutch and a Nigerian.
The Nigerian is 22-year old Kelvin Onyekachi, a resident of Kwacha East in Kitwe, Copperbelt province. He was arrested for trafficking in nine rocks of crack cocaine which he was trying to supply to an identified businessman of European origin resident in Chingola.
DEC public relations manager John Nyawali confirmed that Kelvin Onyekachi was arrested from Sabina road block on the Chingola- Kitwe highway together with John Mwaba Mutale who was also found with 3 sachets of cocaine.
And a 45 year old Dutch national who was found with cannabis hidden in his car has been arrested.
Egbert Bagmeijer, a manager at an identified lodge in Livingstone was arrested from Dambwa Township after a trail by the DEC:
The two Tanzanian nationals were found with 54 bundles of Mirra weighing over 25 kilograms.
Upendo Mwenjoka, 35, and Tumpe Mwasomola, 34, were arrested from Nakonde border Post aboard a Sumina bus which was bound for Lusaka.
