Fresh PF fighting erupts in Lusaka’s Chibolya compound

Fresh fights have erupted  between PF warring factions this morning in Lusaka’s Chibolya township.

Information reaching the Zambianwatchdog indicate that there are clashes going on in Chibolya Compound and some areas of town centre as the two camps are now hunting for each other.

Eye-witnesses say there is anger among the PF camps as each camp feel they need to revenge against the bloody fights that occurred on Thursday leaving some people dead and several others severely injured and hospitalised.

President Michael Sata  has not said anything tangible except for a two paragraphed statement done for him at the Post newspaper without his knowledge claiming he has advised the youth in the party against being violent.

Commenting on the intra-party clashes that took place in Lusaka on Thursday in which a PF cadre lost his life, President Sata said if the youth were aggrieved by anything, there was a disciplinary process which they could follow.

“My advice to them is to say there is a disciplinary procedure which they can follow. They should stop the violence because ‘chabwela pa munzako, mailo chili pali iwe’,” said President Sata.
President Sata said police should act on cadres fanning violence.
