Former president Frederick Chiluba has been advised to stay away from active politics and focus on promoting peace and unity in the nation.
Speaking radio phoenix’s ‘let the people talk program’ former secretary to the cabinet Skechley Sachika said as much as FTJ is free to support any political party he should not participate in politics.
Sachika said former presidents live in glasses houses because of the nature of the work they did while in office, therefore, they should not throw stones.
Meanwhile, PF Spokesperson Given Lubinda said FTJ should unite the nation and not be divisive by campaigning against certain political parties.
Lubinda said it is wrong for Dr.Chliluba to cause division in the nation as he is seen as a father figure by the citizens.
Speaking also on the same program, FTJ’s press aid, Emmanuel Mwamba maintained that the former president is in retirement and not engaged in active politics.
