Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) has admitted that President Michael Sata has appointed relatives to high offices because they deserve it for sticking with him and financing his campaign.
GBM also announced that he will stand for national president when President Sata steps down.
He was speaking on radio Mazabuka’s livewire program yesterday morning.
Mr. Mwamba is one of the people who has been campaigning heavily to take-over from Sata.
He has also been issuing alarming statements claiming the opposition wanted to assassinate president Sata.
Mr. Mwamba himself was a staunch MMD member long after PF was already formed and once stood and lost to Kabwata MP Given Lubinda, who is also Foreign Affairs Minister in 2006.
