GBM arrested over Frank Bwalya’s complaints

UPND vice-president Geoffrey Mwamba has been arrested and taken to Central Police in connection with Frank Bwalya’s complaint yesterday at Central Police over remarks that he (GBM) would go for Edgar Lungu’s throat.
Charity Munging, the Police Spokesperson later confirmed as follows:
‘Yes we have arrested Mr Mwamba for proposing violence or breaches of the law to assemblies contrary to section 91(I)a and b of the Penal Code. This is in connection with the statement he made on 2nd March 2016 proposing to cause death to the Republican President H.E Edgar Chagwa Lungu that he would go for his throat. Mr Mwamba is currently in custody.’
