United Party for National Development Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has entered Luapula Province as he continues canvassing for votes ahead of the 2016 August 11 General elections.
On Sunday Mr. Mwamba addressed a series of public Rallies starting with Serenje in Central Province before concluding his day in Chipili in Luapula province.
In his address to scores of locals that gathered at the rallies, Mr. Mwamba explained the UPND’s 10 Point Plan and how it will be implemented.
He said the country’s health sector has been below required standards accusing the current Patriotic Front government of failing to manage it.
Mr. Mwamba added that his party is concerned with the Education sector which they have promised to better by offering free quality education.
And Mr. Mwamba has urged people to stop following tribe but critically analyse leaders when voting.
He notes that wisdom is one cardinal thing voters need to look at when casting their ballots this August.
And when he addressed Chipili resident at Chipili School grounds in the evening, the UPND Vice President and Running Mate to party President Hakainde Hichilema pledged to complete the construction of Boma offices.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mwamba said the immediate past Member of Parliament for that area Davies Mwila had neglected them after being voted into office.
He also accused Mr. Mwila of being engaged in corrupt activities hence asking locals not to vote for him again.
