Kasama MP Geoffrey Mwamba says acting president Guy Scott has so far acted professionally and there is no need to fight him over his role as acting head of state.
And PF chairperson Inonge Wina says there is no meeting that was held anywhere to expel Guy Scott.
Wina said journalists should be factual and avoid printing lies like the one published by the Daily Nation on Friday.
GBM said that the PF should go for a convention where everyone who wishes to contest the position of party president can compete.
GBM wondered why some people are afraid of going to the convention. GBM was quoted by Radio Phoenix Saturday morning.
The Watchdog is reliably informed that GBM has done his homework and ground work and people think they are popular may be in for a rude shock at the convention.
Members see GBM as someone who can afford to fund his campaigns without begging or borrowing money from people who will hold him to ransom.
Some members talked to said GBM has been funding the party from inception and can maintain it up to 2016 in case the party loses the presidential election.
