Suspected government agents have broken into former State House spokesperson Dickson Jere’s office.
The incident happened around lunch hour Thursday when Jere had just left his office located in the Show grounds.
According to police sources, the ‘thieves’ only got away with an old laptop leaving all valuable property in the office.
The ‘thieves’ forced their way in the office after breaking the door locks using some unidentified instruments.
Sources say there were are lot of valuable items in the office which a genuine thief could have stolen but that these ones were only interested in the laptop.
‘The old laptop they got was being charged and was on top of a brand new one, but they just pulled the one on the charger and left’, said a source.
A few days ago, suspected government agents broke into former vice president and envoy to Canada Nevers Mumba’s house and stole some money, an incidence which president Michele Sata laughed at and mocked Mumba.
Most people believe that in order to divert attention from its failure to deliver on campaign promises, the PF regime has embarked on a witch-hunt of former government officials.
