Trial of the four Barotse activists that are being held under horrible Zambian prisons conditions is expected to commence today at the Kabwe high Court with restrictions on attendance and coverage by some media houses.
Central province commissioner of police Lombe Kamukoshi told the state controlled ZNBC that only five relatives per accused shall be allowed and that security shall put a cordon line to prevent people from accessing the court premises.
The state has also planned to bar some journalists from media houses that are critic to the PF government. In short Afumba Kenny Mombotwa, Sylvester Kalima Inambao, Likando Pelekelo and Paul Masiye Masiyaleti will be tried in privacy. These people’s close relatives are in western province, thousands of kilometres away from Kabwe.
