Govt creating Task Force to stop ongoing human sacrifices

The Ministry of Home Affairs says a task force will soon to be constituted to help curb the increasing ritual killings in the country.
From the time the PF formed government, there has been a huge increase in the number of people being killed in ritualistic circumstances. Most people believe these rituals are conducted by senior PF leaders to maintain power and stay in good health.
Taxi drivers and young girls have been particularly targeted. Road carnages have also been used.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm, Home Affairs Public Relations Officer Moses Suwali says the spate of killings especially involving taxi drivers is a national challenge which needs urgent attention. Mr. Suwali says the ministry has given a directive to the Zambia Police to come up with a task force which will include other security agencies such as the office of the President Special division among others to help stop the heinous crime.

He said that the taskforce will be formed as soon as possible so that the culprits are tracked down and brought to book in time before the situation gets out of hand.

Suwali further assured Zambians that ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Zambia police and other security agencies will do their best to see to it that these killings are stopped.
