Govt gives restaurant contract to maintain roads

The government through the Road Development Agency and National Road Fund Agency has given a stationery & food supplier tuck shop to undertake routine maintenance of all the roads in Central province.

    When China put a puppet in office to secure their own interest, do you people expect better? Corrupt officials got to go. You dont need a government in office that perpetually advocates for the Chinese rather than their citizens.

    Empowerment doesn’t mean giving specialist contracts to jack of all trade companies with limited experience.

    If the results are shoddy it is you through direct and indirect taxes that will be paying for reworks while the politically connected few get richer.

    This is a pattern in PF. Months back the Watch Dog reported Kings Malembe also being awarded a similar contract just because he jogs with Edgar Lungu.

    This is not new. PF has been doing this since ECL took over. What has been happening in the background is shocking. You find a company in say stationery becoming supplier of oil, motor vehicles etc

    THIS MADNESS HAS TO COME TO END, THE OTHER WEEK IT WAS MUSICIANS BUILDONG AN AIRPORT. WE HAVE ENGINEERING STUDENTS GRADUATING WITHOUT JOBS TO EXERCISE THEIR SKILLS AND PASSION. WHEN THEY COMPLAIN YOU ORDER MORE BUTTONS AND TEARGAS FROM CHINA TO SILENCE THEM.
