Govt says fighting corruption is a waste of time and money

Government through the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services says fighting corruption is a waste of time and money.

Chanda Kasolo, the PS explains that fighting the scourge is expensive, time consuming and the country can save such money by directing it to such to social services such Health and education.

“As government we get very frustrated when we start a case and then somebody is found not guilty. Why do we get frustrated? Because we are wasting a lot of funds! That money could have gone to providing medical care for our people. Better food nutrition for our people but we have to spend it on time wasting cases. Not a single corruption has been proven in recent days.”

This is serious. Most senior corrupt officials are sworn in by the president to serve and uphold the law. This is an insult to the president too. So If resources are going to be stolen without consequence, why should we pay taxes? Isn’t this the incompetence of the ACC?

Then paying taxes is a waste of time because monies will be stolen and let them revoke the Christian Nation clause in the constitution since Exodus 20v15 says, ‘You shall not steal’.

    Shameless thieves.

If fighting corruption is expensive and a waste of time. Have you considered the cost of not fighting corruption? Majority of Zambians have stopped reasoning properly. You people do the best you can to come out of poverty is a curse. You will stop reasoning like a normal person.

What a tragedy for zambia. PF will soon publicly decriminalize corruption . I think its already in their manifesto. More money in our pockets meant ministers’ pockets.

Very shameful. Unfortunately this is the caliber of some of the people we have in Government.

So now what might start happening is that society will start taking the law into their hands. Law has this sick way of using technicality to dispose of cases. Please be careful bena Zed. You are heading to a cliff you will fail to come back from. Namuuzyani neo.
