Harrington takes Masebo tribunal to Judicial complaints authority

IMG_0028 IMG_0029FORMER Tourism and Arts minister William Harrington has written to the  Judicial Complaints Authority to complain about the the reluctance by  the acting chief justice Lombe Chibesakunda to appoint a tribunal  against Silvia Masebo over her decision to cancel hunting licenses as  well as fire five top officials from ZAWA.
In a letter dated April 24, Harrington said that Masebo breached  the parliamentary and ministerial code of conduct by cancelling valid   tenders as well as  sacking  five ZAWA officials without giving them an  opportunity to be heard.
Harrington said he would not rest until justice in the matter  prevailed and therefore asked the Judicial Complaints Authority to  seriously look into the matters. .

“I will not rest until this matter is concluded and justice should  prevail. This is unacceptable for the chief justice hence the decision  to report to the authority,” he said in an interview. See attached documents
