Zambia’s United Party for National Development president Hakainde Hichilema has called on Zambians to take this year%u2019s elections as an opportunity for change.
Hichilema says that certain individuals in government and some opposition leaders have been in leadership positions for too long.
He says that Zambia has continued to experience challenges despite the country being rich with abundant resources.
He added that Zambia needs a leadership that will bring value to the country, unlike the obtaining scenario.
He was speaking on QFM’s Monday night live programme.
And Hichilema has dismissed assertions by the Patriotic Front president Michael Sata that the UPND/PF pact is still intact.
Hichilema stated that had the UPND/PF formed government; Zambia would have had a nuisance government.
He added that the UPND tried its best to stay in the pact, but the PF wanted to stay away.
