Hichilema said the Country will be losing foreign exchange by not allowing tourists to trade in dollars.
He said this during a press briefing held at the Livingstone Museum Hall this morning.
He said the there is no need to let tourist go back with their dollars by putting up inappropriate policies.
He said trading using dollars and other major currencies helps improve the supply which manages the demand of the kwacha.
And Hichilema has called for peaceful election during the july 5th by-elections.
He has since called on the electoral commission of Zambia to deal with the Patriotic Front government who he accused of abrogating the electoral code of conduct.
