The UPND leader who addressed rallies in Kikonge and Chizela yesterday told people there never to be cheated by PF’s promises because they never fulfil anything other their pockets.
Mr. Hichilema reminded the people that the first act of the PF administration was to reward president Michael Sata and his ministers an unprecedented 100 percent pay rise even before they settled to work.
He said the UPND is currently battling to stop another selfish act by the PF administration of starting to illegally build Mr. Sata his retirement mansion barely one year in office when farmers and a number of retirees who have already worked for their benefits have not been paid.
Mr. Hichilema said the move does not make any sense and should not be supported in anyway adding that Sata thinks he is going to have it easy on everything but this we shall not accept.
He asked all well meaning Zambians to come on board and stop such wasteful and selfish expenditure at the expense of the majority deserving but suffering Zambians.
He said the PF leaders were full of selfish leaders who only cared about themselves as can be seen in the manner they are publicly confessing to corrupt practices among themselves.
“People are accusing me of always criticising this administration, at least I need to praise them for once, and that is confessing to corruption among themselves and president Sata is quiet,” Mr. Hichilema said.
He said he has at least been vindicated when he talks about corruption in the PF because even before he reports them, they are dragging each other’s necks to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) as to who is the most corrupt among themselves.
He said as expected, the PF government is so far behaving like a literally and practically incompetent and absolutely an experimental transition which the Zambians took upon themselves in a bid to try and liberate themselves.
Mr. Hichilema said it is such arrogance and lack of respect of its people that will cost the PF elections in 2016.
He said governance needs leadership and Mr. Sata is not a leader but a boss obsessed with personal aggrandizement leading the country into a bottomless pit.
Mr. Hichilema said the only thing the PF leadership have fulfilled so far is making promises itself.
He told the PF leadership to for once repent and ask for forgiveness from God and the Zambian people for telling lies.
He said it was shameful to take the people of God for granted and continue playing tricks and comedy with their lives through deception.
He told the people of North-western promise to continue teaching the PF that lies do not pay.
Later in the afternoon, the opposition leader was mobbed by Mufumbwe marketeers when he stopped over to greet them as he was buying some items.
