HH urges MPs to reject NDF resolutions

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has directed his members of Parliament to pass a vote of no confidence in the resolutions of the National Dialogue Forum in the next sitting of Parliament.
Mr. Hichilema says the National dialogue forum was a sham and will remain as such.

He says a Constitution cannot be made through coercion and by threatening citizens of jail sentences for not attending a mere forum.

Mr. Hichilema has wondered why the PF is happy about the proposed increased number of days to hear a petition from 14 days to 30 calendar days but have not addressed the issue of the incumbent President refusing to hand over power to the Speaker of the National Assembly when petitioned.

Meanwhile, Opposition Alliance Chairperson, Charles Milupi says Konkola Copper Mine workers may not get their terminal benefits if the company is liquidated.
