HH’s 31st day in prison: appears in court

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and 5 others accused are back in court today.

HH is appearing for the alleged offense of using insulting language. Trials begun yesterday with the arresting officer of HH testifying.

Court is full to capacity and both defense lawyers and state advocates have settled awaiting magistrate Malumani.

Yesterday one state witness and Intelligence officer, named Hamweene failed to show up for testifying, compelling perhaps the final and last witness, who is also the arresting officer of HH, Mbita to testify.

When court and trials resumes in a shortwhile he will continue to under go cross examining as Magistrate Malumani guided him yesterday not to forget the last question he was asked by the defense lawyer Mweemba.
