Paramount Chief Chitmukulu says he is in hospital but not in intensive care.
Chitimukulu says he traveled to Lusaka just to have his sugar level checked.
The Paramount chief was speaking on a Bemba programme on ZNBC Monday morning.
The Watchdog was informed that Chitimukulu was evacuated from his Kasama Palace on Saturday night and admitted to UTH’s intensive care unit.
But Cchitmukulu insisted that he was not in critical condition.
Chitmukulu lost sight two years ago due to the acute nature of his diabetes.
There are relatively good private and public hospitals in Kasama that can conduct a simple process of checking sugar.
