Kasama Central Member of Parliament, Geoffrey Mwamba has dispelled media reports alleging that his move to donate his gratuity is a way of getting at his Matero counterpart Miles Sampa.
Speaking in an interview with Mano News today,Mwamba retaliated that he does not compete with anyone when it comes to his generosity.
The Kasama law-maker wondered why some people are politicking over his donations when it is not the first time that he has made such a contribution.
Yesterday, some sections of the media reported alleged that move by Mwamba to donate his gratuity is a way of getting at Matero Member of Parliament, Miles Sampa.
Meanwhile, GBM says it is sad that pregnant women in Chiyombela village deliver at a hill popularly known as “pakapapilo” due to lack of a nearby health post.
However, Mwamba who is popularly known as GBM was quick to tell the people of Chiyombela at a meeting yesterday that he will do everything possible in ensuring that a clinic is built in the village.
He added that the said clinic will be constructed with the help from Japan, stating that the move follows discussions he had with officials from the Japanese embassy last week.
Chiyombela village is about 80 kilometers from the district administrative offices.
