Former president Fredrick Chiluba has maintained that he will hit back when ever PF leader Michael Sata verbally attacks him.
Chiluba was speaking on Radio Mano in Kasama Monday a few minutes after PF Kasama parliamentary bye-election candidate Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) left the station.
Chiluba warned that the silence he has kept whenever Sata attacked him has now been broken.
He said Sata was his minister for ten years and therefore he knows him very well. He said he has a very large dossier of Sata’s activities.
He said like Jesus told King Herold that he was a fox and told him to shut up, he has now told Sata to shut up.
He said Sata’s insistence that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) should appeal against Chiluba’s recent acqutital is not based on principles saying Sata was also acquitted by a magistrate when he was arrested on grounds of stealing a car.
He said newspapers and NGOs do not call Sata a ‘cart thief’ because he was acquitted.
Chiluba said his acquittal was based on facts and evidence before the court. He disputed assertions that he was acquitted because of his association with president Rupiah Banda.
Chiluba who sounded elated by callers who praised him on his policies on transport and the saale of houses to sitting tenants thanked Chitimukulu for inviting him and Kenneth Kaunda to the Kesefya ceremony.
