Vice-president Guy Scott has told parliament that ZNBC was in order to give him his preferred reporter who he says is the best.
Responding to a question from Malambo MMD MP Maxwell Mwale who wanted to know whether it was now the PF government to assign specific reporters to senior government officials as the situation was demoralising others.
Scott said there was nothing wrong in him requesting the best journalists from public media houses to cover him.
Scott has recently come under spotlight for preferring ZNBC’s Effie Mpande to cover all his assignments.
And the PF government says they have no idea how much money has been spent on the Malawian Judge Lovemore Chikopa.
Answering questions from several opposition MPs who wanted to know why Chikopa was in the country even when the High court judges tribunal has not yet been disposed of, Scott said he was also going to consult if the Malawian judge
Earlier, newly elected Livingstone PF MP Lawrence Evans took oath before parliament. He was declared winner of the Livingstone parliamentary by-election in the early hours of Friday morning but by 9 hours in the morning , he was sitted in parliament in Lusaka more than 600 kilometres away.
But opposition UPND said they will petition the just ended Livingstone by-election in which the PF emerged winners.
