I wont chase the Chinese, claims Sata

Patriotic Front leader Michael Sata says Zambia will vote in next week’s elections to restore their dignity and integrity which they have lost through thieves.

Mr Sata bemoans the vandalism of things Zambians have built over years by the MMD government.

He says President Rupiah Banda is denting the image of investors stating that investors should come to Zambia to complement local investors.

He says the PF government will not tolerate a situation where foreign investors will overthrow local investors.

Speaking with the BBC in an interview today, Mr Sata further dismissed the concerns that hi will chase the Chinese investors if the PF takes power.

He explains that the PF manifesto is clear when it states that any investor who invests in Zambia, the investment should benefit Zambians.

Mr Sata adds that Zambians are not benefiting from the mineral resources, promising that the PF in government will ensure that Zambians benefit from their mineral wealth.
