President Rupiah Banda says he has no intentions of replacing Vice-President George Kunda with Sakwiba Sikota.
President Banda was speaking at the Lusaka International Airport Wednesday afternoon just before he left for Uganda where he is going to attend a two-day special Summit on refugees.
The Post newspaper has been running stories that Banda wants to replace Kunda with Sikota to please Lozis. Kunda was at the airport to see off president Banda.
President Banda also apologized to the nation over the prevailing fuel crisis which has entered the second week.
Motorists have continued queuing up for fuel at some of the few open filling stations in Lusaka.
