In panic, Lungu pays Petauke vendors K500

After we exposed PF’s lies to pay vendors in Petauke, President Edgar Lungu panicked and diverted money meant for maize buying to paying the vendors on Friday, however they were only Paid amounts ranging from K500 to K750 instead of the K2,000 Lungu initiative loans they were earlier promised.

Lungu’s panic comes from the fear of UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who has kicked off his Eastern province campaigns alongside vice president Canisius Banda. But according to information obtained by the Watchdog, Hichilema may not even reach Petauke in this leg of campaigns.

“We were promised K2,000 each by Chanda Kabwe but now we are getting money ranging from K450 to K750. This is nonsense because even the K2,000 they earlier promised us was far too little, anyway it is free money but we still won’t vote for PF,” narrated a college dropout who has now resorted to street vending.
