Vice President Inonge Wina is today expected to travel to Kabwe to resolve political impasses that threatens to split the PF in the district but the trip is disguised as visit to the Kabwe people in Makululu compound whose houses collapsed after a heavy downpour.

A rift has arisen between the party cadres and their two MPs Tutwa Ngulube and Sydney Mushanga for Kabwe Central and Bwacha constituencies respectively. The two MPs have been accused of deserting the cadres after being ushered into office and former district youth leader Clement Kalifungwa has since commenced campaigns to unseat Mushanga in 2021.

According to PF insiders from Kabwe, Kalifungwa has the backing of many youths and some two named former ministers. District chairman Mulenga Chella and his secretary Boston MPende have been suspended for being linked to leaking the video and audio in which PF secretary General Davies Mwila directed PF cadres to take over markets and bus stations.

Wina, who has been appointed to broker a reconciliation between PF Roan MP and Copperbelt province youth chairman Nathan Chanda is also expected to have an independent assessment of the impact Chishimba Kambwili has in as far as unseating President Edgar Lungu is concerned.

A program made obtained by the Watchdog from Wina’s office says that she is expected to leave at about 08:30hrs and arrive in Kabwe at 09:00hrs. She will later address PF cadres at the provincial administrative offices before visiting the sprawling Makululu shanty compound.
