Three Zambians arrested in Malawi for drug trafficking

Police in Malawi have arrested three Zambians for drug trafficking.

The three have been named as John Zulu, Felix Phiri both aged 43, and Joe Tembo aged 40. The three are from Mlamba village in Petauke district of eastern province.

And Zambia Drug Enforcement Commission spokesperson John Nyawali has confirmed the arrest.

The three were arrested from Mzimba district after being found with two 90 kilograms of cannabis en route to Zambia.

They are currently detained at Mzimba Police.
