Isoka MMD rejects candidate

MMD officials in Isoka west have rejected the adoption of Paul Sichamba as the ruling party parliamentary candidate.

The officials, led by constituency Information and Publicity Secretary, Bornwell Siwale, say they are also disappointed with the party National Executive Committee.

Mr Siwale has told MUVI TV that the MMD NEC’s decision is against President Rupiah Banda’s assertions of upholding grassroot people’s assessment.

And Constituency Youth Chairman, Isaac Sichalwe says Mr Sichamba was not on the list of candidates approved at constituency level and then handed over to the party NEC.
