Ssoccer fans across the country have hailed Chipolopolo coach honor Janza for guiding his team to AFCON finals slated for Equatorial Guinea 2015.
Fans spoken to said that Janza has also proved his critics wrong who said that he was not equal to the task, and therefor deserves a contract.
Janza became the fourth Zambian coach to guide the Chipolopolo to AFCON finals after ,Sir Zoom Dhlobvu ,(1990,1994)Ben Bamfuchile(2000),Patrick Phiri (2008)and Kalusha Bwalya(2006).
Janza has achieved a much bigger feat taking over the team at the time two Frenchmen Herve Renard and Patrice Buemelle left Zambia to join the elephants of ivory coast few months ago.
He will be remembered for many years to come despite being underrated by some fans when FAZ hired him months ago.
Dhlobvu became first Zambian trainer to reach the quarterfinals in Senegal and Soul Korea Olympics games in China in 1988.
Banfuchile ,Phiri and kalusha ‘s teams were booted out of AFCON tournament at group stage.
If Janza goes past these men‘s record group stage next year he will equal Dhlobvu ‘s record.
He will be likened to Zoom and other foreign coaches who reached quarter, semies and finals.
Scottish coach Ian Porterfield guided his team to finals of 1994 and finished runners up to super Eagles of Nigeria.
Porterfield emulated other Yugoslavian mentor Ante Buselic who reach 1974 finals and Frenchman Herve Renard who won the AFCON 2012 in Gabon.
Germany Burkhard Sieze and Dutchman Jan Brouwer ‘s team was eliminated at group stage as well.
Danish trainer Ronald Paulsen reached the semis in South Africa 1996 AFCON finals.
Now give him the contract as full time coach
Chipolopolo boys interim trainer Honor Janza has prove his worthy to manage Chipolopolo on long term contract after beating Mozambique over the weekend.
FAZ g denied Janza a contract when FAZ appointed him interim coach after Frenchmen ditched Chipolopolo.
He was given a condition to qualify the team before inking a long term contract to keep him at the helm of senior national team until 2016.
Janza‘s tactical approach to Mozambique game has proved that he has qualities to lead Chipolopolo after Herve Renard quits the job months ago.
Janza should mould strong team for next year’s AFCON finals because he was already familiar with the players having served as assistant to Renard.
After Mozambique win players should now grow mentally and psychologically to face any team in future international matches.
