Journalist Derrick Sinjela and Barotseland freedom fighter Afumba Mombotwa walk to freedom

President Edgar Lungu has pardoned Barotseland freedom fighter and leader of the Linyungandambo movement Afumba Mombotwa who was serving a 15 year jail sentence arising from his fight for Barotseland to revert to its pre 1964 status as a separate state from Zambia.
Also released is journalist Derrick Sinjela, former Minister in the MMD government Maxwell Mwale, Chief Mulongwe, and former ZAF Commander Christopher Singogo.
