Kabimba, Chellah face arrest

A combined team of security officers have raided former Justice minister Wynter Kabimba’s home and retrieved a ‘presidential succession plan’ document and copies of confidential documents from State House.

Meanwhile, police are likely to arrest Kabimba and State House spokesperson George Chellah for treason.

Security sources have told the Watchdog that Chellah leaked all copies of State House documents found at Kabimba’s house. Chellah has been placed under official investigations and his access to State House restricted. He is likely to be summoned for interviews at Police Headquarters in the next few days, sources say.

Chellah is said to have already run away from his government house and is staying at the servants quarter of his lawyer.

Kabimba was fired from his position as justice minster and relived of his duties as PF secretary general last week
