Kabimba sends his 65 year-old mother-in-law as Zambia envoy to Botswana, appoints RDA Director

Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has sent his 65 year old mother-in-law as First Secretary at the Zambia’s High Commission in Botswana sources have told the Zambian Watchdog.

The sources say Kabimba also influenced the transfer and promotion of former Roads Development Agency (RDA) Director Benard Chiwala to Permanent Secretary level so that his brother in marriage Charles Mushota becomes director at RDA as he now wants to benefits from road contracts, other than Traffigura oil deals that is currently baiting Zambians with fuel shortages and increases.
Wynter Kabimba’s wife is the elder sister to Charles Mushota’s wife.

And sources have told the Zambian Watchdog that dismissed Foreign Affairs minister Efron Lungu differed with Wynter Kabimba over the appointing of his mother in-law to Botswana.

“It is not true that Dr. Lungu was fired for leaking information, it was because he differed with Wynter Kabimba over the posting of his mother in-law to Botswana as First Secretary” the source said.

The source said Kabimba then coined the same lies he peddled against Lubinda and told President Sata that Lungu was leaking information hence Sata’s move to fire Effron Lungu who was one of the very few educated ministers in the PF government.
