PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba has urged all those who claim to have contributed to his party’s victory to give him the bills so that the party can pay them instead of holding the government to ransom.
In an apparent reference to Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM), Kabimba, said some senior government and party officials are engaging in corrupt activities to recoup the money they pumped into PF.
GBM was recently accused of soliciting for a contract from Zesco to transport poles using his company Arizona marketing.
In an interview with his sponsors at the Post newspaper, Kabimba who is also justice minister, urged all members who put money into the PF with intention of reaping when the party gained power, to submit their bills so that they can be compensated.
And Kabimba has said his party does not owe people who campaigned and supported it ahead of last year’s elections any ‘thank you’.
Responding to Mike Mulongoti, who said the party should at least thank those who put in their time and risked their lives, the ungrateful Kabimba said President Micheal Sata and his party don’t owe them a ‘thank you’.
