Kabimba’s ochestrated divisions are weakening PF – Chama

Suspended former Lusaka Province Patriotic Front chairperson Davies Chama says the divisions being perpetrated by party Secretary General Wynter Kabimba are likely to weaken the ruling party.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm news, Mr. Chama says it is unfortunate that instead of strengthening the party, Mr. Kabimba has decided to orchestrate divisions which he says are unhealthy for the ruling party.

Mr. Chama explains he has laid a strong foundation for the Patriotic Front in Lusaka Province but that the party Secretary General and the current provincial chairperson Geoffrey Chumbwe are bent at destroying the gains he attained throughout his tenure of office.

He further notes that Mr. Chumbwe’s unwarranted attacks on named cabinet ministers will have a negative impact on the popularity of the PF.

Mr. Chama has therefore advised senior party officials being attacked to be calm and not prey in the hands of those peddling lies in an effort to remain at the helm of the party.

He says they should remain focused on delivering development to the Zambian people adding that as a senior party member, he will not allow a few selfish individuals to weaken the party.
