Kaingu and other traitors lose injunction against Never Mumba

Lusaka High court judge Eddy Mwango Sikazwe has thrown out the injunction in which MMD traitors filed to declare the recently held MMD National Executive meeting as null and void and also cite MMD president Nevers Mumba and others for contempt of court.

Delivering the ruling this morning, Judge Sikazwe ruled that the law does not allow serving of an injunction on weekends, and public holidays, like the MMD traitors vice-presidents Michael Kaingu and Dr. Brian Chituwo, Lucky Mulusa and others did.

The Judge also ruled that the meeting was in order to go ahead, and saw no point in the traitors complaining since they were also invited.

With this ruling, it means Muhabi Lungu is now the substantive MMD National Secretary as he was elected at the meeting.

The resolutions of the meeting to deal with the traitors also now stand and they have to answer to the charges of bringing the party into disrepute.
