Kalu, wife to feature on Top Billing

This week’s episode of Top Billing, set for SABC3 at 7.30pm on Thursday. ” will feature  Zambia’s most capped footballer and coach, Kallusha Bwalya, and his marriage to Emy Cassaletti.
Bwalya and Casaletti, both 46, just knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

According to Times,  For the big day, the bride wore a halter-necked, taupe-coloured satin dress, encrusted with frosted beads created by South African design company, Fundudzi.

The menu was a fusion of Italian and Zambian cuisine.

“In fact the entire wedding showcases the diversity of our two cultures,” said Casaletti .

The bridesmaids were her younger sister, Vivian, and Bwalya’s daughters, Olivia, Sarah and Tamela.

Bwalya, a Fifa 2010 ambassador, is president of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and that country’s most capped player .

Having appeared in 147 international matches, he made his mark in 1988 with a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory against Italy at the Olympic games.

Casaletti entered the footballing world in the ’80s when she organised for the Kappa brand to sponsor teams like Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs before netting Bafana Bafana to wear the distinctive label.

The jet-setting couple live in Johannesburg but Bwalya, given his commitments in Zambia, commutes regularly.

The couple bought a house in Bedfordview from Abe Krok, who made millions from skin-lightning cream and brother to Solly — who owns Summer Place.

After the wedding, they “are popping in to London” to watch Zambia play Ghana in a friendly before taking a quick turn to Amsterdam — where they have a place — for some R & R, before heading back to the corridors of Fifa.
