According to Mr Nyimbiri, Mr Ndhlovu told him that he was aware that the branch union leaders were behind the story on the Zambian Watch Dog and so he would sue them.
But, Mr Nyimbiri told Mr Ndhlovu that any one could post the story on the Zambian Watch Dog and so it was unfair to implicate union leaders over the story that he had received the long term bonus twice.
“You can’t know who has posted the story on the Zambian Watchdog and so it would be unfair for anyone to just wake up and say this is the one who posted the story. Any way, if he wants, he can go ahead and sue them, but he has to prove it that its the union leaders who posted the story on the Zambian Watch Dog. If he is innocent, why should he panic,” Mr Nyimbiri said.
Mr Ndhlovu has been unsettled by the story on the Zambian Watch Dog because it exposed his thieving and scandalous behaviour such that on Monday, he was talking of resigning, but the Town Clerk Eddie Mumba urged him to be strong.
The Town Clerk has been a very close ally of Mr Ndhlovu and are alleged to be working together in the plunder of council funds.
