Kalusha returns home to mourn young brother as Chipolopolo fine tune for Zimbabwe

FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya has returned to Lusaka from Rwanda following the death of his young brother Chongo.
And the Chipolopolo boys are finalising preparations for their CHAN opening march on Tuesday 19th January against neighbours Zimbabwe.
Kalusha, who is a member of the CAF Executive Committee and CAF Head of Venue for Rubavu, attended the opening ceremony and opening matches of the CHAN 2016 Championship which the PF controlled ZNBC has failed to televise.
Chongo’s funeral takes place Monday 18 January a day before Zambia takes on the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
And the Chipolopolo boys are finalising preparations for their CHAN opening game on Tuesday 19th January against neighbours Zimbabwe.
Chipolopolo coach George Lwandamina took his squad through some of the final tactical drills at the Umuganda Stadium annex on Sunday afternoon.
The team continues to enjoy a clean bill of health with each of the 23 men in the squad expressing readiness and willingness to go the extra mile in the opener against Zimbabwe on Tuesday at 15:00.
The team will have a final pre-match practice tomorrow (Monday) at the same stadium. The official pre match press conference also takes place at the Umuganda 30 minutes before the official pre match practice which will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
