HH’s case adjourned amidst tight security

The case in which UPND president Hakainde Hichilema is being persecuted for prophesing about PF violent militia being trained in Sudan has been adjourned to tomorrow.

This is in order to allow the Magistrate Aridah Chulu study the application by defence lawyers.

The lawyers have applied that the matter awaits a ruling by the High Court in similar matter in which Daily Nation editor Richard Sakala and FODEP Executive Director Macdonald Chipenzi charged with publication of alarming information has been referred to the High Court for determination of constitutional matters.

Earlier PF provincial Youth Chairperson Kennedy Kamba and Michael Sata’s son Mulenga, were hiring thugs from various townships in Lusaka and loading them into buses and took them to Lusaka Magistrate Court.

Reports reaching the Watchdog were that Kamba and Mulenga Sata, who ideally should be yawning in his office as Lusaka Mayor, were in Matero and other townships paying unemployed youths to go and cause violence at the Magistrate Court in Lusaka.

As earlier reported here on the Zambianwatchdog, the idea was to cause bloodshed and later blame it on the UPND president Hakainde Hichilema so that he can be arrested for more offences, perhaps even murder.

The magistrate complex was sealed with heavily armed police officers, but PF thugs are also known to be carrying dangerous weapons and can easily over-power the police
