Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili has condemned Vice President George Kunda’s attacks on him and the party.
Commenting on the Vice President’s remarks, Kambwili says Kunda and the Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) are desperate and can do or say anything to tarnish the image of their opponents.
He charged that Kunda has no right to advise the electorate in Roan not vote for Kambwili as each one is free to choose their preferred leader.
The Parliamentarian said the recent attacks are a sign of fear and panic from the ruling party as it is aware that the PF is headed for victory in this year’s tripartite elections.
And PF Information and Publicity Chairperson Stanley Chumya has dispelled claims that his party plagiarized the United Party for National Development (UPND) and MMD manifestos to create its own.
Chumya said said the ruling party is making the claims because it is fearful after realizing that the PF manifesto is salable and credible as it was written by intellectuals.
