He was, by press time, being attended to by Prison Warders.
Kambwili was granted court bail this morning but the Anti Corruption Commission Officers who are supposed to sign on one part of the Bail ‘disappeared’.
Kambwili’s Lawyers have confirmed the development.
Earlier, Kambwili pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Kambwili was moved from the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) where he was admitted yesterday after the PF police moved him from a private hospital and took him to woodlands police before taking him to court and finally to UTH.
Magistrate Mwaka Mikalile has granted Kambwili K10,000 bail in his own cognizance with two working sureties among them UPND Mazabuka law maker Garry Nkombo.
Magistrate Mikalile has set 30th April and 28th May 2018 as dates for mention while 4th June has been set as the date for commencement of trial.
Lawyers Keith Mweemba and Christopher Mundia Junior are among the legal team representing Dr. Kambwili.
