King Mwsati expected in Zambia Friday

king-mswati-swazila_794068cThe king of Swaziland is scheduled to visit Kasanshi copper mine in North-western province this weekend.

King Mswati is expected to arrive in Zambia Friday and set to leave for Solwezi with president of Zambia Rupiah Banda on Saturday.

According to Dickson Jere, State House spokesperson, President Banda and King Mswati will later leave for Mfuwe where they will hold bilateral talks at Chichele Lodge.

King Mswati is scheduled to leave Zambia for Swaziland on Monday, July 20, 2009 morning.

“…The Republic of Zambia, will this weekend host His Majesty King Mswati of Swaziland who is scheduled to arrive in Zambia on Friday, July 17, 2009 for a three-day State Visit,” said Mr. Jere in a press release to the Watchdog.

Mr. Jere further revealed that President Banda and the First Lady  Thandiwe Banda will host a State Banquet in honour of the visiting Head of State in Lusaka on Friday.
