Kwacha also gets very ‘sick’

By close of business on Tuesday May 27, 2014, one US dollar was fetching K6, 955. One British Pound was going for K11, 647, according to the Bank of Zambia rates.

In commercial financial institutions, the Kwacha is much more worthless.

One Euro was selling at K9, 446. When the PF took over power in September 2011, One US Dollar was selling at K3, 800 while the British Pound was going for K8000.
