Kwacha maintains its depreciation

The Zambian Kwacha has continued losing value reflecting the deteriorating economic environment in the country.

According to the Bank of Zambia rates which are the lowest, the Kwacha started trading at K9.45 per US Dollar today, April 26, 2016. But by 12:30 hours, the Kwcha had depreciated to K9.47 per US Dollar.

In Zaanaco, one US Dollar is selling at at K9.54.

In most bureaux de change around Lusaka, one US Dollar is selling for K10.2.
