Kwacha resumes depreciating

After ‘relaxing’ for a few days, the Zambian Kwacha has resumed its depreciation  journey.

The Kwacha, now known as the worst performing currency in the world has just lost more three points against all major currencies.

One USD at Zambia National Commercial Bank is being sold for K12.33 (K12, 330. 00). A British Pound is going for K18.91 while a Euro fetches K13.63.

At Barclays Bank, the One Dollar was selling for K12.00 in the morning but by 09 hours, one Dollar was pegged at K12.31.
